ABOUT FUTURE SHELTER
Established in 2007 by Adam Coffey and Jane King, Future Shelter is recognised for locally designed and manufactured homewares and gifts. Inspired by the unique natural and built environment of Western Australia, we endeavour to create timeless pieces for your home, which can be loved for years to come.
OUR PROCESS
Our design process begins with local inspiration, from which Jane sketches, refines and stylises. Products are sampled in small batches which help us to learn more about potential manufacturing methods and tweak the design accordingly. We are constantly on the look out for locally sourced materials, often using reclaimed woods such as Jarrah, Sheoak and Norfolk Pine.
MADE IN PERTH
We have a passion for good design and craftsmanship, and are committed to local, in-house manufacturing. Embracing digital innovation, process driven methodology and lean manufacturing, our products are all made in our workshop based within the Midland Railway Heritage Buildings near Perth, Western Australia.
